My name is Sarah, and I have a passion for exploring the world and writing as I go. Sometimes it’s hard as a traveller to know what to do in a new place. That is where I come in. I am here to give advice, top tips and suggestions on where to visit and how to do so. I hope you enjoy reading my posts.
I have worked in Montana USA (for the Forest Service), Peru (as a field assistant in the Amazon rain-forest) and volunteered here and there in Central America. As a solo female traveller I have journeyed through America, central America, South America, Asia and Europe.
I am an ordinary girl, with an appalling sense of direction. Consequently, if I can travel anyone can. It needn’t be expensive, check out my posts on how to make your travels as affordable and sustainable as possible.
Travel is not without its barriers; sometimes life gets in the way. I have put together some posts on working life, environmental impact and family responsibility.
Once you break these barriers, almost all baggage will be left behind (both metaphorically and quite literally if you follow my packing guidelines)!
The most important thing is to have fun and be safe.
