Heir de agua

Today we took a taxi bus to the waterfalls. Our first stop on the way to them was Mitla – here we saw some arceological ruins.

Next stop was the waterfalls – which were absolutely stunning. They were not actual waterfalls but made out of rock formations.

We went for a hike around them, getting a closer look. They were phenomenal.

We got nice and hot walking around and were lucky enough that there was a pool we could swim in overlooking the picturesque mountains. It was such a great day.

I also tried an tamalas for lunch.

The drive back was in a truck. I sat in the outside section with a couple of Mexican’s and we spoke about the cold weather.
