London Life

While, I’m a sucker for nature and vast open landscapes, London is somewhat pleasing to the eye.

These scenes provide us with an alternative nature; a man-made environment, a city where 8 million inhabitants go about their daily lives.

The Shard is a 95-storey skyscraper – it is the tallest building in the UK. It has a snazzy restaurant, bar and hotel at the top.  You can pay to visit the viewing gallery (£15.95  – £20). While the views from inside are spectacular you can get the view for free from other buildings (Sky Garden, bars or offices)
