Our first stop in North Wales took us to Conwy castle built in 1283. This ancient castle is not to be missed, situated in the lovely town of Conwy – there are plenty of coffee shop opportunities.

Next stop off was Rhosneigr beach. Here we played cricket and watched the RAF planes jet across the sky. They made an almighty racket!

Later that day we arrived at our first nights accommodation, a glamping pod called Anglesey Outdoors in Holyhead. Staff were very accommodating and told us the best places to grab food. The pod was armed with a microwave and snacks so jacket potatoes and beans were definitely on the cards.
The location was perfect just 5 minutes away from the beach with rolling green hills around us. it was very peaceful. The bathrooms were a short walk away. They had good hot showers in them.
